Krys can help you begin to paint with watercolor in Watercolor 1, 2, 3! This is the course for someone who is a novice, who has never painted with watercolor but would love to learn the medium. Watercolor 1,2,3 is a fun and educational workshop where Krys shows you how you can become a watercolor painter with simple techniques and basic supplies. It’s easy as 1, 2, 3: 1 piece of watercolor paper, 2 brushes, 3 tubes of watercolor primary colors. You will learn how to mix a variety of colors from just 3 basic colors, learn how to use a round and a flat watercolor brush, and explore some simple watercolor techniques that will give you the skills to create your own unique masterpiece! In the workshop you will work on 2 small watercolor paintings after Krys helps you with the basic techniques. Krys is a beloved watercolor teacher and she knows how to keep you motivated, help you feel confident about using watercolor, and work with you to enjoy the watercolor process. Krys has been painting in watercolor for over 30 years. She has been teaching watercolor at the Quinlan and has a helped novices and beginners learn about the magic and joy of watercolor and helped each individual student grow with their painting and develop their own style. There is a supply list so please make sure you bring the correct supplies so you can get the most out of the class.
